Art is a great outlet for mental health
Each year Chopsticks Alley Art offers free art classes and cultural workshops for the community, especially for the elders and low-income families in San Jose.
In 2022 we will open our new center at Gardner Community Center in San Jose to continue to serve the community.
Since 2018 Chopsticks has served thousands of individuals and artists. Though the pandemic has made things difficult, our staff and volunteers continue to push through. The City of San Jose recognized our dedication and approved for us to operate full time at Gardner Community Center.
With new opportunities come new challenges. This is where you can help!
Our goal is to raise $12,500 to provide 500 scholarships to elders, families, and youth so they may continue to take free art classes with us in 2022. The funds will help us pay teaching artists and buy art supplies. Your donation is an investment in our community. Thank you for your generosity.
Chopsticks Alley Art is a 501(c)3. All donations are tax-deductible.
